Jean C. Batista
He is from Dominican Republic and currently works as a college professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bucknell University, in Pennsylvania, USA.
Jean holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University (2015), a Masters in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez (2011), and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Jean's research focuses on fire performance of thin-walled structures through experimental work and advanced computational simulation.

Oscar A. Herrera
He is from Colombia and currently works as Research Associate II at Evidera - an American multinational firm specialized in economic simulation modeling for market access of drugs and medical devices.
Oscar holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech (2016), a Masters in Industrial Engineering with emphasis on Management Systems from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez (2011), and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del Valle in Buga, Colombia (2005). His research focuses on measuring the performance of complex systems, and the development of simulation models to evaluate programs and projects.
